Nature Explorer

Just another WordPress.com site

About March 7, 2011

This blog is an appreciation, a thank you, for the opportunity to experience what nature has to offer, in small ways and large, every day. Nature is all around us, waiting for us to see. There’s an old Japanese expression  that said something like “The finger pointing at the moon is not the moon.” I don’t want to be the moon. I only want to say, Wow, look at that moon!

I am a children’s book writer, outdoor educator, science teacher, and mother. I am awed by the world around me!
